Working in the world of civil engineering and construction for the past nine years have provided me countless opportunities to gain skills and understanding that has enabled me to become a senior engineer, working in teams and with various stakeholders to deliver successful projects. However, civil engineering has not advanced in decades and grows stale by the day. In my quest for discovery, and to satiate my cravings for new and innovative work, I pursued a master’s degree in Information Technology.After gaining my master’s degree, specialising in Network Security and Software Design and Development, I continued to research and practice the skills necessary to become an Associate Analyst. This year, I continued my study and learnt about performing basic malware analysis (both static and dynamic) and am currently studying and preparing to get my Comptia Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification.
