Director Of Business Process Managment
Denver, Colorado, United States
For MDC’s National Purchasing group, I oversaw operations support, business processes, and analytics. In the business process areas, I worked to streamline the information and process flows for agreement management, incentive management, organization structures and duties, and general data flow and integrity. For the Executive Management Team, my staff put out commodity impact analysis relating to the hard costs in building residential homes, hard cost spend analysis for all trades, future hard cost and commodity impacts, and product cost re-engineering. Working with Human Resources, I designed career road map paths for the National Purchasing team. I personally managed these efforts for the National Purchasing team while designing a new company cost code structure, working in the areas of option management, sitting on several committees for designing company processes and systems relating to products, agreements, bidding, options, and incentives. In the area of operations support for Nationals Purchasing, I oversaw our Rebate tools, Spend Analysis tools, relationship with our IT counterparts, and any IT related system or equipment issues that National Purchasing has. I worked directly with the Executive Vice President of National Purchasing, as well as with the Regional Vice Presidents of Purchasing, helping with process and system issues at the national, regional, and divisional levels. I oversaw the development and growth of the national incentives program that experienced manufacturing rebates growth from several million dollars annually to over 32 million dollars annually.
