Managing, supporting, and deploying the field support team is a key responsibility. This includes investigating and incorporating new technologies to be integrated by our engineering team and ensuring the successful deployment and networking of our solutions. Real-time customer support is provided as needed, alongside scheduling installations and sustainment efforts. Additionally, the role involves assisting the engineering team with both on-site and remote equipment.

Founding investor and architect TempusFlow Smart Valve Technology finally being released for interested industry partners.

Developed embedded sub-systems for video encoder hardware utilizing embedded C methodologies within a variety of microcontroller platforms. An emphasis was placed on supporting legacy interfaces to a variety of components, including “front panel” user interfaces, video interface devices, and other application specific components. Asynchronous software sub-systems were coordinated using a mixture of legacy synchronization schemes and contemporary multi process synchronization where those capabilities existed. Embedded development continued with an emphasis on migration from legacy architecture toward a more complete realization of a true Hardware Abstraction Layer of the existing feature-rich code base.Software user interface work was focused on refining traditionally ambiguous device capabilities driven by defense sector requirements, with more fully realized, user-experience driven software implementations of features more typically associated with commercial-space products. Network discovery, remote management, hands-free upgrade functionality, and more, were implemented through a suite of software capabilities presenting a modern, user-friendly interface.Drawing on strong communications skills, remote field applications and customer support became a cornerstone activity while at Delta. The ability to draw on the broad base technical knowledge gained over the course of a diverse career allowed for smooth transfer and integration of customer input on matters from the electrical interfaces all the way through to the user-interface software. Experience with the project lifecycle from the early stages of site surveys and RFIs through to customer site implementation were critical to continued success within the corporation.

Starting as a Co-op student, i was recruited out of college to use emergent technologies for rapid prototyping of user interfaces and hardware interfaces. I design, code, implement, and test GUI applications, Backend Services & Hardware Interfaces on VariousOperating Systems and Mobile devices for 3D UI Displays, Data Simulators, Radar Systems, Video Processingand COM IO using TCP/IP, Java, Visual Studio and anything else needed for projects requirements, integrationand customer satisfaction.I was a founding member of the Common Information Base Awareness (CIBA) from rapid prototyping to design,implementation, and deployment.● CIBA is a complex, modular, and adaptable situational awareness system providing custom bordersurveillance.● Includes system engineering & hardware and advanced user interfacing through simple touch displays andoperator workstations.● Each Component is designed to be modular, reusable, independent, and abide by a set of standards Ideveloped in collaboration with other team members.● Primarily responsible for the development of User Experience & GUI technology integration● Represented company at trade shows● Involved in project fund raising activities and early technology prototyping and proof of concept● Technologies used included Java OpenGL, Dynamic Texture Streaming, Video decoding and Manipulation,World Mapping standards, Network Enterprise Service Bus, proprietary sensor interfaces, etc.Before CIBA culminated all of my previous experience, I worked head mounted 2D overlays/augmented reality, 3rd Partysituational awareness components and GUIs, camera operator control, VNC Image & Application streaming and many othersystem/component support modules across varying projects.
