I have been a RUGBY EDUCATOR and coach since 1977. I have also played junior representative rugby - culminating in representing the Australian U21 side in 1980. I currently have a Rugby AU Level 4 accreditation.Next Gen Rugby Coaching commenced in 2013 under the ownership of current Wallaby Assistant coach - Dan McKellar. I held the position of Director of Coaching until I purchased the company from Dan in 2017. Next Gen is specifically designed as a resource/mentoring coaching tool for both players and coaches, as well as club and school rugby programs. Our goal is to provide personal growth and skill development by unleashing a players potential both on and off the field. This is achieved through our highly successful rugby coaching clinics (for both boys and girls) at both school level and club level; our development program within school and club programs; and finally our personalized 1 on 1 program. As well as being teacher and coach of rugby, I feel I have an even more important role as mentor to young men and women.Our main philosophy at Next Gen is as the great former All Black coach (Sir Graham Henry) once said: “Better people make better rugby players”
