    My role within the healthcare system was to act as Project and Program Manager. My responsibilities where to develop and deliver a couple of great Unified Communications projects within Telehealth. Specifically I'm managing the "Telehealth" implementation and evaluation for the Newborn & paediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS). NETS is a statewide service of NSW Health, it is the only service of its kind in Australia; providing expert clinical advice, clinical co-ordination, emergency treatment and stabilisation and inter-hospital transport for very sick babies and children up to the age of 16 years. It operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The other project wass to provide 'Telehealth" technologies and build visual linkages between Residential Aged Care Facilities and Hospital Emergency Departments. In both projects, Visual Communication technology is being successfully used to augment existing models with the use of video conferencing to provide enhanced clinical and patient outcomes.
