• Supervise all shipping and order filling staff• Route sales orders to accommodate efficiency and customer requests• Assure that orders are loaded and secured for efficient, timely delivery processes• Assure that orders are checked for content and labeling (and note any discrepancies)• Oversee ship verification process to assure that product on the dock is confirmed• Assure that all picks are completed, labeled and loaded accurately• Assure that systems and procedures are implemented and communicated to staff in a timely manner and are followed consistently• Provide performance plans and feedback for assigned staff• Provide annual reviews for staff• Monitor attendance or staff and prepare appropriate written documentation when required• Assist or provide appropriate development and training for staff as required• Assist in the staff hiring, disciplinary and release processes• Pro-actively participate in scheduling of staff to accommodate business needs• Communicate issues to other staff supervisors when pertinent to efficiencies in operations• Monitor safe work habits of all staff and assure that staff are trained appropriately on all equipment to assure that all OSHA standards are met

• Issue warning’s & chargeback’s to vendors/accounting due to vendors not being in compliance to our Shipping & Packaging requirements.• Work with our 3rd party audit company to schedule and perform factory audits for our suppliers overseas.• Create and update our Merchandising Break Even. • Create and update our Domestic Vendor Compliance documents and manuals.• Work with our Factory Direct Buyer and new drop ship vendors on test orders to ensure they can pass our shipping and packaging requirements before they go live. • As a side project, I created all of our Warehouse standard operating procedures. This includes the Returns, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Receiving, Kitting, Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Departments. These visual procedures help greatly during the training process for new associates.• Periodically monitor our Factory Direct shipments from our vendors to our customers to ensure they’re following our shipping requirements.• Work with our Accounting team on any issues on billing that relate to freight.• Manage our MSDS/SDS website and upload any new MSDS/SDS sheets.• Manage our product liability insurance forms from our vendors.• Create and manage our Domestic and Import Vendor Agreements.
