We created a small team to deal with this situation and to get in front of the error, causing less downtime, pulling the cases physically and having them on standby when they are needed. Also partnered with IC and support, to de-allocate all product the was affected by this error• Partnered with engineering and doing a new time study on the pull department and cooperate with them on compiling the accurate data from the pull team to create a fairer LM system. The old LM system did not align with what associates were doing, giving them little to no downtime, and causing fatigue. After the LM enhancement, there was a noticeable shift in performance and a higher CPH that was coming from the associates• Implemented pallet auditing on the backline throughout the year, leading to less exceptions for orders. Coaching both backline and pull associates when cartons are missing to ensure they have a better understanding of the effects of missing cartons have on the building. This led to associates being more aware of what causes cases to go missing• Developed an Excel sheet in shipping that makes data easier to read and more efficient when cleaning up shipments and making it easier to communicate with peers and admins on what is complete what is missing. This has allowed us to know who is working on which shipments, making it easier for us to effectively utilize the associates• Setup a better process for Amazon loads to help with the demands. Communicate the process across all shifts.
