Representing the 6th District of Kansas City South, as a member of the Board Of Trustees that has six Board Members that represent the entire five counties of the Metropolitan Kansas City Area, after having run of office and being elected to a six year term as a voting member of the community college systems board. Mainly making financial, legal, marketing, curriculum, staffing, and governance decisions that help street the community college system into successful direction.

Elected to the Board of Trustees in 2015. Served a financial outsight and policy advisory role as a member of six panel Board Members, with leadership position along side college chancellor. Monthly meetings included campus reports, financial statement, awards, student progress, enrollment statistics, and graduation ceremonies.

Through my efforts I created meaningful solutions to tough community problems that impacted everyday people's lives. The 50th District was one of the lowest voter-turn-out districts in the state and I lost my first time running because of it. I learned that you had to ask people for their "vote" in order to gain there support.
