I am content creator who is curious about everything. At Hold On Let Go I am producing videos and writing blog posts about everything from local history to what's happening in the Down syndrome community. I love researching new topics and figuring out how to get the story out for everyone else to enjoy.

In my role as Communications Coordinator I write articles for, and edit, our quarterly magazine "Under Construction", write a weekly newsletter for our members, and generally work to promote and advocate for the construction industry in the Ohio Valley.

It was my job to shape the story, editing the many hours of raw footage into an exciting and entertaining show. I worked closely with finish editors to see the episodes through to a final, air-able product. I also wrote episode descriptions and titles that were used in all media releases.

This organization is very near and dear to my heart. When our daughter, Rumi, was born with Down syndrome we were immediately initiated into one of warmest, closest knit tribes I've ever known. I knew I wanted to give back to them in some way, and when the opportunity to become their Social Media Manager arose I leapt at it. I produced digital content for their Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter feeds. I helped double their followers on Instagram.

This is one of the shows I am most proud to have worked on. I worked with other producing teams to create storylines for the entire season. Then I worked with the raw footage to craft the episode story arcs.

Who doesn't love watching a car project go from ugly an steel frame to a beautiful work of art that can tear up the pavement? This show was a lot of fun to work on. I crafted the story of several episodes, editing the hours of raw footage into a watchable hour of television. I researched the history of several different car models to include this information in each show.

This show was so much fun to work on! It was fantastic to be able to tell each person's story. As a Producer I worked to help find the subjects of the show. Then, after the segment was shot, I would edit the raw footage into a fun, entertaining, and enlightening hour of television. I also wrote the script for episodes that Mr. Rowe read as narrator.

Working as a Producer in Reality Television you do a little bit of everything. I've worked on location directing cameras and crews, secured locations, interviewed talent, and produced the story. In post I've edited footage, written scripts, written show titles & descriptions, worked with other editors & producers to finish each episode.

I moved to Hollywood to work as a screenwriter. One of my firsts job was reading scripts for "coverage" (whether or not a production company should make the movie) as well as giving feedback to screenwriters. I also judged several screenplay contests. I read, and gave feedback, on thousands of screenplays.
