Integrating geology with geochemistry to provide support and guidance as a subject matter expert on L48, Alaska and South American exploration and development for both unconventional and conventional. Work with very large public and private geochem databases to generate understanding of source rock potential, and unconventional/hybrid reservoir potential through geochemical analysis. Integrate results with other subject matter experts and asset team towards high-grading prospective areas for further in-depth investigation and characterization. Propose and conduct sampling and analysis to flesh-out existing datasets and answer key questions to mitigate risk associated with existing acreage, leading towards go/no-go decisions. Work geochemical analysis of exploration, appraisal and development wells, existing and currently drilling, conventional and unconventional, to assist business unit integrated solutions, and address key uncertainties and risks.

Lead geologist on Colombia Unconventional Exploration Group, mentoring other geotechnical staff, and managing subject-matter experts, to build a regional geologic model of the Middle Magdalena Valley for the purpose of exploration drilling. Drilled the first deep-basinal, unstructured, geologically successful unconventional exploration well in the basin. Successfully implemented a zone testing and flow back program, with successful results. Designed horizontal well and pilot well log and sample acquisition program, in order to collect the right data to mitigate subsurface risk in the exploration phase.

Main focus of evaluating and ranking several basins in Russia (2 years) and UK (1 year), while continuing to screen numerous basins and evaluate farm-in opportunities (mainly South America and Africa). Geologist in the Peru team Latin America Exploration. Successfully assisted in the promote and finalizing sale of working interest of COP operating license blocks in Maranon Basin, Peru. Interpreted and mapped newly acquired 2D Seismic data, incorporating into existing data, and mapping prospective structural leads in Maranon Basin. Oversight and incorporation of geochemistry basin modeling of the two main source intervals contributing to the regional petroleum system

Exploration geologist for the Global New Ventures Exploration Group. Evaluated several areas globally for further study/data acquisition (including Turkmenistan, Paleozoic basins of South America, offshore east Africa, and offshore east US). Conducted a detailed regional evaluation of the transform margin of west Africa, generating a stratigraphic and structural architectural model, maps of several key stratigraphic horizons, and a paleogeographic map for the main source/reservoir interval.

Resource assessment geologist focused on a secondary development target nearby Lobo development acreage. Identified and mapped out 3 sequences within the target, identified the two main productive sequences and derived a correlation between geologic/seismic attributes and production.

Initiated literature research and exploration model building of hydrothermal dolomite plays, how to identify the key parameters and locate them across the globe. Using the model, identified several key locations for exploring.

Environmental Geologist/Project Manager of 21 former Atlas missile sites and a former WWII Army Air field in Kansas. Responsible for site investigation, maintaining state and federal regulations during the remediation of these contaminated sites, and overseeing and working with EPA and the US Army Corps of Engineers in the remediation of these sites.
