About Michael Brune

I am a consultant working with some of the country's most prominent foundations, philanthropists, nonprofit organizations and business leaders. Previously, I ran the Sierra Club, the country's oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization, for nearly twelve years. I co-chaired the Blue-Green Alliance for more than a decade, bringing together the nation's largest unions and environmental organizations and co-founded the Combined Defense Project, which united environmental organizations fighting rollbacks in the Trump Administration. I currently serve on the Board of Outdoor Afro and am an advisor to SolarCycle.
