As a partner at Davis & Brusca, I concentrate my practice on representing vulnerable people and their families when there is abuse or neglect in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and hospitals. I've specialized in this area since 2009.I know how to go to trial when necessary. I was lead counsel on the Estate of Mary Dwyer v. Harborview, the largest nursing home verdict in the state of New Jersey - a $13.2 million dollar verdict in Hudson County. I got great training serving as an Air Force Judge Advocate, where I tried many cases all over the world in the United States, Japan, Qatar, and Kuwait. As a specialist, I regularly lecture around the country and teach other lawyers how to prosecute these claims. I've been published many times, including in the New Jersey Law Journal and the national attorney magazine Trial.Having lost my own family members in institutions, I have a certain level of understanding with all my clients.
