As the Assistant Vice President of Retail Properties of America, Inc., I oversee ~6.2M square feet of retail space throughout eight states. I manage the day-to-day operations, including project accounting, contract negotiations, lease negotiations, bid leveling, risk management, and mitigation. Proud of the impacts I have made during my tenure, I have completed $8.8M in redevelopment and $45.7M in capital improvements. So far this year, I completed 90% of projects for build-outs and capital improvements and am scheduled to complete $4.6M in capital expenditures and $4.5M on tenant builds by 12/2021. A willing coach and mentor, I lead my bi-coastal team, by consistently finishing <5% under budget, providing timely budgets, and delivering on time.Prior to joining RPAI, I have leveraged my commercial trades background to help the economic development of suburban and urban areas in both large-scale and small-scale projects. My past roles have included Project Manager for a 20 house residential investment group, a Construction Manager for a development group for luxury homes worth up to $2.4M, a Project Manager for a $33M multi-residential development in coordination with the Chicago Housing Authority, and a Project Manager for a commercial interiors company with budgets ranging from $100K to $1.4K.
