My time at Boots has involved working on Swisslog,Witron and Knapp automated systems, which has included electrical faultfinding and mechanical work and also CI work. I have also worked on automated building maintenance systems and forklift trucks.I also managed a small team of engineers ensuring tasks are completed and a high standard of work is carried out

In March 2005 I joined British Bakeries as an electrical and mechanical maintenance engineer, responsible for planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of production equipment, which incorporated PLCs. I have a good basic knowledge of Siemens and Mitsubishi as well as 5ti consoles. I have worked in a proactive environment where I have looked into gaining better plant efficiency

In 1997 I joined the Royal Naval Air Service (Fleet Air arm). I became an Aircraft Mechanical Engineer on Sea King Helicopters and did this for 8 years carrying out all electrical and mechanical works to a very High standard. My tours of duty included Iraq, Bosnia, Norway and the Caribbean. I also completed a Leading Hand leadership course. But on gaining promotion I took the decision to pursue civilian employment

Left school in 1993 and went on to complete an Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship and achieved City & Guilds qualifications. I carried out all types of work including repair and maintenance of domestic, industrial and commercial sites. able to read drawings and understand specifications.
