When Covid struck my planned internship fell through so I worked for a local clothing brand that owned the retail store I was working at. It started as me just helping out anywhere I could. Once I realized I would be free for the summer, I was promoted to warehouse manager where I had a variety of responsibilities including: conducting inventory counts, reorganizing and maintains a 15,000 square foot warehouse, and fulfilling online orders. I also assisted with developing merchandise, promoting products, and advising in market strategies.

Worked weekends at a few Athens bars where I started at floor staff and worked my way up to barback and eventually bartender.

Began working at my local BPS the week I turned 18 and they would finally hire me. Started in the men’s apparel section but quickly learned to work a variety of departments as I covered shifts wherever they needed me. Through this I was able to learn so much about every department so that I could better assist customers and also got to learn a lot from talking with a wide variety of people while sharing my passion for the outdoors. I eventually became the BPS MasterCard sales representative and moved our location from the 2nd to last in applications to the top 5 over my summer leading the department.
