2011 - Current BAE Williamstown, Vic Position: Henderson Detail Planning Team Lead / Site Resources Planning Lead Major Responsibilities:• 4 Subordinates, 3 AWD Block Schedulers, 1 LHD Blocks Schedulers, Material Planning & Work Orders Control.• Manage the planning of work flow and schedule of work through the work centre in conjunction with the Superintendent, supervision, trade and Material planners• Manage the release of work orders, in accordance with the Work Order Release Schedule, that describes the contracted work scope for the shop• Support Production morning DSUM and manage closure of planning actions• Schedule the activities of the production planning team in the work centre• Run the work centre meetings and manage issues to closure in accordance with Production requirements.• Assist with the establishment and maintenance of the Contract Work Breakdown Structure in the cost accounting tool• Manage the maintenance and delivery of the Shop level Production Schedule (Level 4) • Manage Cost Account detailed schedules (Level 5), and assist with the roll up of these schedules into the overall project schedule (Level 3)• Manage the establishment and maintenance of Work Package level budgets for the work centre• Manage material planning and reconciliation of production material allocation with planned BOM• Manage work centre Stop Work log• Manage assigned team’s Performance Reviews in line with specified timeframes• Develop and actively manage the required training and development needs for the work centre team in accordance with the Planning Competency Matrix and group succession plans• Assist with process reviews and ensure that improvements are embedded in work centre and rolled across to other work centres
