I have worked in the gaming industry for 9 years. I started as a video AWP CatC game programmer (1 year) and then moved to developing Cat B games (4 years). I solely developed the first in-house Cat B3 slots game which opened the door for the company to become an international business. I then ported this game to other territories including Italy Comma6b which was our first international slots game. Due to my genuine interest in the psychology of gambling I worked very closely with the games designer creating maths par sheets, game profiling and game designing. This earnt me the proud title of "unofficial games designer". I was promoted to techical lead developer of the UK team (3 years) which produced many CatB2 and CatB3 games for the biggest land based book makers in the UK. It started by me leading a team of 3 developers and due to our success we rapidly grew into me leading a team of 9 developers, which was the largest team in the office. This required a change in work flow to keep the quality of our software high. We adopted the scrum agile methodology very successfully. I am now a certified scrum master and agile evangelist. I was promoted to game engine architect (6 months) for all territories including UK land, UK online, UK mobile, Italy, Greece, Ukraine, Columbia, Norway, Ireland and Mexico. I was also responsible for leading the build system team to allow easy building, testing and deployment of all games.
