The main scope of work consisted of sinking a 712m shaft with concrete liner to establish a skipping system, diamond drill bays and required underground infrastructure, to remove a representative bulk ore sample.☑ Northgate Minerals’ Young Davidson Mine - Matachewan, ON.,Field SuperintendentManagement of work related to the completion of a feasibility study for re-opening the past producing Young Davidson Gold Mine. The scope of work involved dewatering and rehabbing the previously decommissioned timber shaft and re-establishing the shaft stations. Also, a ramp was excavated from surface to a vertical depth of 500m, which accessed the shaft at key horizons.
