Hello reader, I am a nursing student at St James's Hospital Dublin, where I have been shadowing my preceptors, working independently where appropriate, and learning by trial and error to apply person-centered holistic patient care. I have a bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences from University of the Arts London, which gives me a solid foundation in the scientific and clinical aspects of nursing. I also have strong skills in team collaboration, creative leadership, and new business development, which I have developed through participating in my family run women empowerment business (inspired by the passing of my mother from ovarian stage 3) and my amateur legal assistant role at a trading and foreign affairs company through my grandfather with strong roots in soviet societal issues. In my recent non medical work experience, I have been involved in various tasks such as sourcing data, providing marketing research and trends, idea development and planning, document drafting and translation, and public speaking. I have also contributed to the creative direction, videography, social media, and event planning of the women empowerment business under my entrepreneur Aunt. I am passionate about helping others, especially those who face challenges and hardships in their lives. I believe that I can bring something different like diverse perspectives and experiences to the nursing (and medical) profession, as well as a creative flair and a problem-solving mindset. I am eager to learn from the best and to grow as a nurse and as a person, with high visions of helping others and carrying out my duty for the sick, as it is my drive and feel as though it’s my purpose!
