I have developed and managed full supply chains functions for a mom and pop startup business growing to $70M annual sales in 5 years. I joined the company shortly after they landed an account with local The Home Depot region. There was no racking in the warehouse and containers of product delivering weekly. There was no PO system and no inventory control or management processes in place. We had to shut down daily operations, do physical inventories, write PO's to receive product that was in the warehouse, and build inventory planning and management processes as we gradually turned operations back on. Grew business to supply all regions of THD and Lowe's across the US. Fantastic learning experience.Most recently assumed, single handedly, full supply chain responsibility for a pharmaceutical business, successfully managing 19 supplier partners manufacturing 100+ unique SKU's across 20 product lines. This was a unique business model in that it was a "virtual" business. The business did not manufacture anything itself, but contracted with other businesses to manufacture their products. Products were purchased as finished goods ready for distribution, purchased as bulk product and sent to repackagers for final packaging, and manufactured with raw material components (API's) that we supplied. Finished good products were then sent to a contracted 3PL partner to warehouse, inventory and ship to customers. This business model required multiple data feeds from and to various ERP's, and 3rd party service providers (cloud services). The responsibility for developing, monitoring and managing these data feeds fell under the roll of Supply Chain Manager also. I developed processes to monitor and correct, as necessary, these systems that generated ASN's as required by the FDA. Additionally, working with ERP Master Date and 3rd party service providers, implemented Serialization as required by the FDA. Again these responsibilities fell under the Supply Chain Manager roll.
