reLive - The Concert ExperiencereLive was built out of my love for music and concerts. reLive is a Full Stack Javascript application that allows you to see what songs your favorite musical artists are playing at their most recent concerts and listen to the setlists long after the show. reLive uses 4 different APIs to get photos of the musicians and concert setlists, which can then be played directly in the app. reLive uses a full authorization flow using OAuth 2.0 to enable users to log in through their Spotify account, which means they can save and view the setlists played by their favorite musicians anytime they come back to the app. reLive was built with an HTML5/CSS3 front end and a Node.js + Express backend. The site also uses Passport for the authorization flow and MongoDB for data storage and retrieval. The APIs used are Setlist.fm, Last.fm, Spotify, and Flickr.Coder News - Coder News is a Full Stack MERN application which uses the HackerNews API to grab the latest stories about the top programming languages and display them in an easy to read format. Using a separate server built with Node.js and Express, Coder News uses the articles linked to on Hacker News and attempts to individual scrape each of the web articles directly in order to pull out enough information to fill out the React front-end. Additionally, a fully functional authentication system using Passport was used which will eventually allow the user to save their favorite articles to read later. Coder News uses React + Redux, Node.js, Express, Firebase, Unfluff, and MongoDB. GigMap - Tour VisualizerGigMap allows you to see exactly when your favorite musical artists have played and when. After entering a musicians name, you can choose the specific year, see all of the places they have toured. Designed as a front-end only app, GigMap pulls its data from Songkick and displays it on a custom Google Map to help you visualize the tour. GigMap uses CSS Grid and Flexbox for responsiveness.
