As Head of School at Royal Palm Academy in Naples, Florida, I bring over 23 years of leadership in Catholic and private faith-based education. My mission is to build RPA into one of the top Catholic schools in the country, where outstanding educators thrive, and families know their children are growing academically, spiritually, and personally.At RPA, I focus on attracting and retaining exceptional teachers, creating a culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. I believe great schools are built on talented educators, and I’m committed to providing the resources and support they need to excel. Under my leadership, RPA has expanded enrichment activities, strengthened its academic programs, and enhanced its Catholic identity, all while positioning the school for long-term success and sustainability.Prior to joining RPA, I held leadership roles at both Diocesan and Independent Catholic schools, including Principal at St. John Academy and Head of School at Benedictine College Preparatory. In these roles, I spearheaded curriculum improvements, elevated school culture, and engaged parents meaningfully. My focus has always been on building schools where students, teachers, and families can thrive together.My leadership journey began at the United States Naval Academy, where I served as a commissioned officer overseas and later as a lead Navigation Instructor. The discipline and strategic thinking I developed in the Navy continue to shape my leadership style today. After my military service, I earned advanced degrees from The Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business and Marymount University, specializing in Catholic School Leadership.Since 2021, I have guided Royal Palm Academy through a period of strategic growth, overseeing initiatives such as the launch of our Vision for Royal Palm Academy and the creation of the current Strategic Plan. These efforts are setting the stage for RPA to thrive in the 21st century, ensuring financial strength and academic excellence while staying true to our Catholic mission.For educators, RPA offers a supportive, innovative environment where they can grow and make a meaningful impact.
