At Williamson Law Book Company, I’m part of a dynamic team that creates software solutions for New York State municipal offices. Our suite of software includes applications for municipal accounting, town clerk management, municipal payroll processing, tax collection, and highway superintendent tasks. It’s rewarding work that directly impacts local governance efficiency and effectiveness.At Hamilton College, I focused on three primary areas of study: Computer Science, Data Analytics, and Economics. The culmination of this work was the interdisciplinary approach I took in both my academic theses. In Computer Science, my thesis was titled "Media Analysis of Corporate Ownership." In that work, I explored how corporate ownership of media outlets influences reporting bias. My Honors Economics thesis was titled "The Impact of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation on Artificial Intelligence Investment." In that work, I explored how privacy regulation has the potential to stunt investment in nascent AI ventures.I also worked extensively with The Oakleaf Group and Basis Point Analytics during my senior year at Hamilton. As a risk management analyst for those entities, I assisted high-level risk management data scientists and quantitative modelers in the assessment and minimization of portfolio risk related to the MBS holdings of a major U.S. Government-Sponsored Enterprise.
