Production TechnicianAir Products Mar 2014 - Jan 2017Seal Sands.I have currently been employed during the construction and start up of the brand new Energy from Waste facility to assist in the commissioning phase and bringing to life the new state of the art plant, with a view to become a fully competent Production Technician / Control Room Operator once the plant is on line ( Scheduled 2015 ). The job entails pressure testing, line walks, flow checks, P&ID verification, troubleshooting and fault finding, as well as learning all DCS control narratives, and extensively learning the process inside-out. The process itself involves Plasma Gasification of the MSW, the subsequent syngas clean up, sulphur removal and seven stage compression of the syngas in order to fire two parallel trains of Solar Gas Turbines that will provide 35 Mega Watts of Green Energy for Teesside, as well as maintaining all associated Plant Utilities -
