I am manager of Sewers Emergency repairs in Norfolk, Lincolnshire and Cambs, overseeing agents in each county , managing programme,H&S,logistics etc.Meeting with Anglian Water (client)

Just completed a short contract for National Grid on a Gas staion near London,inspecting and excepting civils works for CCTV,Lighting,Electric fencing,comms and general building hardening.

Oct 2010---May 2011 Site Manager - MANSELL Reporting into the Lead Project Manager for the the LOROL Refurbishment protects based at South Hampstead overground Station. Managing all of the site activities, which included overseeing the installation of; new lamp columns, walkways, painting,CMS power and communications amongst other key works. Auditing and analysing key of information and keeping records for the customer.Feb 2010—Sept 2010 Site Manager – VOLKERFITZPATRICKThis project included the rebuild of a retaining wall and associated Civils works including piling, R/C works, carriageway support, water course diversion and general day to day site management.Sept 2009 – Jan 2010 Site Manager - BALFOUR BEATTY_CARILLION Joint Venture on the East London Line as a Site Manager at Surrey Quays Station, Managing the Day to Day activities on Site, including Station, Platform and Track Refurbishments works. Organising Civils, M & E and Wet trades Contractors, keeping to a tight programme and 24 hour work regime. Answering to the Package Manager, but instructing Foremen and Engineers on site.Nov 2008 – April 2009 Site Manager - LAING O’ROURKEWithin this role, I was the Senior Manager for two smaller projects, 70% M+E 30% Civils on sewerage treatment works at Beckton and Crossness for Thames Water. The project was the re-modification of the Ash Silo’s and Associated Civils on both sites. These packages were both completed ahead of programme

Sept 2006-July 2008 Freelance Senior General Foreman for BLACK + VEATCH (GLEESONS) . Working on Thames Water sewerage treatment works 2-4 sites at any one time. My role was to liaise with engineers and assist with rash assessment and method statements, design, crane lifts and general day to day take off's for materials and labour. I would meet with client and attend weekly site meetings, carry out tool box talks, site and plant inspections, in house environmental inspections and make sure health and safety was adhered to at all times. I would brief foreman on daily basis as to work which needs to be carried out. The works on these sites included new concrete structures in and out of the ground i.e. Inlet works, chambers P.S.T, storm tanks, sludge tanks bases for M.C.C, Kiosk, Pumps, Generators etc. Also, Pipe work flanged and push fit in ductile and MDPE. Including valves, pumps, in and out of the ground, also liaising with M+E supervisors route & lay power and telemetry to all areas. Continuing, new roads and car parks. There was also a refurbishment programme of existing works I would oversee all of these works on all sites and report directly to my agent for Black and Veatch. Values were from 500K to 2million I would keep a site diary and carry out inductions for sub contractors and staff.

Feb 2006-Sept 2006 Freelance Senior General Foreman for BIRSE WATER at Mogdon Sewerage Works, Twickenham London. Responsibilities included the day to day management of sub contractors, plant and material takeoff, ensuring health and safety was adhered to by Civils and M+E personal, giving tool box talks and inductions to the labour force, also making sure that the Civils project was running to specification. The project itself was worth 46M, personnel on site numbered 150+.Feb 2005-Feb 2006 Freelance Contracts Manager/Small Works Manager for Priestley’s Civil Engineering. Looking after various projects ranging from small Civils to the value of 10,000 up to 1,000,000.Looking after subcontractors, plant materials and organising a programme, and managing to keep within the said programme which included. A full storm and foul drainage system in and around a ladies prison, a road widening on Lincoln bypass and some social housing refurbishment work. Also, storm defence valves on private house holds in the Humberside area,and a new school Project in Sheffield2004- Feb 2005 Freelance General Foreman/Contracts Manager - Trent Valley Construction. Looking after various sites organising labour, materials, plant, weekly costings and schedules. Liaising with client and local councils on private housing projects.2003 – 2004 General Foreman - Galiford Try, currently involved in supervising excavation, ducting and drainage work at RAF Conningsby for utility services. Ensuring work is carried out to spec whilst maintaining an excellent H&S record throughout. 1998 – 2003 General Foreman - Capell Construction Ltd. Main duties were supervising all aspects of ground works on various M.O.D bases throughout the UK. Ensuring sufficient labour was on site and making sure that suitable plant and materials were available. Making sure that all M.O.D rules were adhered to whilst working within bases

1996 – 1998 General Foreman - Bell and Websters Concrete Ltd, duties included ensuring that all aspects of casting concrete floors were carried out on time and to high quality. Carrying out quality inspections of finish on concrete floors prior to loading for outwork.1986-1996 Subconstracter Bricklayer on Various sites in the East Midlands.
