As a Tendering Engineer/Project Estimator, I work within a dynamic team of three professionals where our key responsibility/objective is to analyze and compile a precise and price-competitive tender offer.As part of the tender team of three:• I perform an in-depth technical and analytical analysis of each tender returnables and specification.• I aid in the completion of our functionality scoring for each tender to ensure we score sufficient functionality points.• I collaborate within our team and with our key suppliers to gather the necessary technical data and cost estimations as well as lead times to compile project costings and timelines.• I maintain detailed records of tender submissions, including notes and analysis processes.• I promptly communicate any updates or changes in the tender requirements to the team to ensure everyone is kept updated.• I prepare detailed reports outlining our tender financial and technical offer.• I identify any opportunities in our tendering process for process improvement to enhance our financial and turn-around time competitiveness.

I manage a small workgroup of 3 employees. I am responsible for maintaining stock levels of necessary replacement parts for various fuel dispensers. I am also responsible for documenting and reconditioning of any equipment/parts that a customer will bring in.

I was responsible for the designing, manufacturing and commissioning of projects that was handed to me by my supervisor. These projects required various skills including;1. Understanding the customers' requirements, specifications and constraints2. Converting the requirements, specifications and constraints into a working 3D model.3. Liaison with suppliers for the required parts to manufacture the model.4. Testing the manufactured assembly to assess whether the intended design was manufactured correctly and operates.5. Commissioning the final product and handing it over to the customer.

I assisted the owner of L&L Pump Centre whenever I was not on campus at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology or had completed all my daily activities. This was mainly a vacation work.I assisted the owner in various activities, namely; Setting up the equipment he needed to work on-site.Helping with the disassembly of fuel dispensers.Any IT requirements the company needed.Workshop cleaning up and reorganising.
