Michael Cheung has been working in Real Estate Development and Property Management since 2015 and he is currently Executive Director at Vincci Group. He is responsible for managing Vincci's portfolio of properties and businesses in Chengdu, China. In this function, Michael oversees the company's daily operations and management, including corporate strategic planning, budgeting, and operational controlling and reporting.Prior to this, Michael was a Senior Business Intelligence Manager at Ermenegildo Zegna, where he was responsible for managing Zegna’s portfolio of direct operated stores, covering 40 cities and over 120 stores throughout the Greater China Region. In this function, Michael analyzed and negotiated retail locations to maintain Zegna’s development in the region. He was also Financial Controller for Shanghai Omni Gear, overseeing the company’s financial operations in China, the U.S., and Brazil. He started his career as an audio video engineer in Canada.Michael has a degree in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He also studied at The University of British Columbia, Beijing International Studies University, and SynAudCon.Michael is passionate about enriching people’s lives through quality products and services, helping consumers to lead more sustainable and richer lifestyles through innovation, responsible and sustainable design, finding ways to reuse, recycle, and minimize waste, and combining the best practices of culture and customs from the East and the West.Michael speaks English, Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
