From bootcamp to college, I am a student-veteran at Northeastern University's Commerce and Economic master program. During my deployment in the U.S Navy, I gradually developed my interest in economics and finance from my reading hobby in the cold war and geopolitical conflicts. My study area includes econometrics and microeconomic factors, concentrating on corporate finance, investment instruments, and foreign exchange exposure.Six years after the service, my academic discipline at the University of California, San Diego, and Northeastern University prepared me to conduct research. I can perform economic data analysis using Stata and R. I am eager to learn other coding languages on my job post. My course concentration provided me the knowledge to build financial models using Microsoft Excel. I am trained to interpret financial ratios from a prospected company's SEC filings.My experiences in the U.S Navy transformed me into a teamwork-oriented employee. I am a dedicated team member who can work independently. The unpredictable working environment facilitated my flexibility and adaptability to urgent changes in the workplace.
