And is of vital importance for more vulnerable members of the community such as those with intellectual disability.Project Independence is helping to service this much underserviced group through their work being the only such programme and is:- Proven (we have been operating for over a decade and providing homeownership opportunities for over 7 years)- Scalable (we have successfully rolled out 30 homes in Canberra and we have approved specifications, DA’s and governance in place in Victoria and NSW. We also have a large number of potential residents on the waiting list with over 200 people on the Melbourne waiting list)- Shovel Ready (with 30 homes in development with builders in Canberra, another 10 DA approved homes in Melbourne awaiting refurbishment funding and have another 10 homes in Sydney approved for building now). -
