PI transforms the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing a safe, caring, and sustainable environment where they can thrive with the support and guidance of their community, and where they can build financial security by investing in home equity.Project Independence is a lifestyle program providing lifetime rental tenure and a pathway to ownership programme for people with an intellectual disability. Home ownership is of critical importance to all of us. And is of vital importance for more vulnerable members of the community such as those with intellectual disability.Project Independence is helping to service this much underserviced group through their work being the only such programme and is:- Proven (we have been operating for over a decade and providing homeownership opportunities for over 7 years)- Scalable (we have successfully rolled out 30 homes in Canberra and we have approved specifications, DA’s and governance in place in Victoria and NSW. We also have a large number of potential residents on the waiting list with over 200 people on the Melbourne waiting list)- Shovel Ready (with 30 homes in development with builders in Canberra, another 10 DA approved homes in Melbourne awaiting refurbishment funding and have another 10 homes in Sydney approved for building now).

The CRFC was an entity created by RDA ACT for the purpose of creating a fully integrated sustainable City-Region Food System across the Canberra Region (southern NSW and the ACT). We are promoting a model which can help meet both food security, investment and global emissions objectives. Our events program Food in the Capital creates a convergence of investment, food, community and research providers in a synthesis of expertise required to meet the challenges to the broader food system.

1. Work with a business-led Board for this leading Not for Profit organisation to foster investment opportunities and job outcomes across the ACT and Southern NSW Region.2. Build an Australian-first City-Region Sustainable Food System. Driven by the Food/Renewable Energy/Water Saving/Soil remediation nexus-driving a new food economy with positive social impact, lower emissions, jobs, more nutritious and plentiful food. 3. Collaboration with and relationship brokering between stakeholders in industry, government, research and community sectors to identify opportunities leveraging private and public sector investment & philanthropy.4. Connect regional businesses, councils and industry sectors with international trade partners,financial markets and potential investors;5. Promote and disseminate information on Australian Government policies and grant programs to state and local governments and industry, business and community.

Policy and research advice to Australia’s airports in support of their successful case in the Productivity Commission regulatory review of the sector. Researching and analysing economic, regulatory and industry trends to inform the development of fact based policy positions.  In particular helping review regional airport needs, contributing to a new major national infrastructure upgrade scheme.Formulating and analysing policy options, preparing briefing papers and recommendations for policy approaches and advising on preferred options. Managing multiple external research projects to ensure delivery of high‐quality outputs that are within scope, timely and within budget.

Management Consulting through running the operations of AgriFood Skills Australia's Consulting and Services Division. Engage clients with a compelling value proposition for skills needs diagnosis and other workforce development tools. Provide project management and strategic and innovation insights.Secured more than $15 million in additional funding for the organisation; ran large national projects supporting hundreds of businesses and thousands of participants. Built a reputation for innovation in a challenging space.Influenced policy development and program implementation to achieve better industry outcomes. This includes working closely with food manufacturers and agribusiness and delivering quick results with a strong ROI. Provide advice on innovative workforce development strategies and approaches to assist business profitability. Engage with educational institutions especially in the regions. Assisted industry apply for funding to government programs. Assisted enterprises and consortia to apply successfully for government funding. Work with high performing training organisations to deliver high quality results.

Develop strategy and deliver programs to achieve enhanced workforce and skills capacity in the food and agricultural industries. Contribute to policy development and piloting of innovative models to improve workforce attraction and retention, including in rural Australia. Lead national initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of government programs.

Management Consulting: Led teams undertaking economic analysis and evaluation of various government and private sector projects and investments. These included analysis of multi-million dollar investments by a major rural organisation funding research, impacts on Australia of China trade and investment and improvements to funding and expenditure in the ACT school system.

Provide investment location decision insights, facilitation and in depth market information and identify joint venture partners for international companies. Various positions including senior manager of inward investment in agriculture and food industries, advanced manufacturing and nanotechnology and services.Contribute to more effective and efficient program implementation to maximise investment outcomes fro industry and government.
