• Revised USAID project reports and scientific articles on diverse topics (nutrition, entomology, malaria, zoology, and GIS) for publication from across the institute• Collaborated with staff to develop project proposals and program documents such as informed consent forms and survey instruments• Interviewed, trained, and supervised 20 investigators for a malaria eradication study• Designed and taught English classes to over 50 public health professionals

• Worked to improve Food Security in local region through:- Facilitating trainings for over 48 farmers on new agricultural techniques - Introducing new varieties of nutritious and high-yield sweet potato and rice varieties in partnership with over 25 farmers- Assisting 8 young entrepreneurs to start a fowl-vaccination business- Managing a small grant with community partners and an NGO which allowed 16 rural farmers to adopt a new agricultural irrigation technology (treadle pump)- Working with Office National de Nutrition to supervise nutrition trainings and monitor child growth in local community• Taught 60 students at a local middle school on:- Awareness and best practices concerning malaria, schistosomiasis, nutrition, hygiene, water, sanitation, etc.- Agriculture through a school gardening program• Gained trust and support of community as demonstrated through a 1650+% increase in the number working partnerships, from 4 working partners in my first year of service to over 70 in the second• Trained 30 new Peace Corps Volunteers serving in the Agriculture and Health sectors as a Peace Corps Volunteer Trainer of International Nutrition and Food Security
