Wang Torpe Design Studio is part of the Johannes Torpe Studios A/S worldwide. Copenhagen + Beijing + Padova, Italy + Hong Kong + New YorkWang Torpe Design Studio is a multi-disciplinary creative hub with many passionate young creative that works towards the same objective of cutting edge design, whilst been supported by a professional team of project managers who is dedicated in continuing the design excellence in driving due process and project delivery.The Studios across different locations work collaboratively to deliver projects in branded space, interior design, project management, architecture, industrial/product design, furniture design, visual identity, and creative experience as a whole.Michael is in charge of the BJ studio and the Asia Pacific region. Whilst not afraid to get into the thick of things across all facet of design, management and project delivery, Michael believes in empowering his charge and facilitating them to do great things. He is responsible for the financial viability of business in the region, business development, and design excellence.

Worplace creation firm based on an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model across 11 global offices. Michael joined M Moser in Hong Kong and then relocated to Beijing. He had the responsibilities of business development, project leadership, client relations, design excellence, integrated project delivery, across multiple locations. He believed experience and knowledge in sustainable best practice often injects project with the passion and momentum needed to achieve a innovative yet balanced outcome.

Michael came on board as the chief Designer and manager for Cunsolo Architect's Sydney office, working predominently on large corporate commercial interior projects across Australia.After successful delivery of a number of high profile projects he has taken on the role of Associate and Practice Manager responsible for Quality Assurance for Melbourne and Sydney, as well as Head of Sydney responsible for client accounts and P&L of that office.

2M Design Pty Ltd in Sydney Australia is established in 2000. It has since developed quite quickly towards its aim of being a virtual practice, which it achieved in 2002, where a number of independent designers and architects work together to fulfil project objectives and the satisfaction of clients, without having a physical office. Since its inception the skill pool of designers, architect, 3D experts, drafts person etc. has grown to 20 people, working on interior consultancy projects spanning from retail, restaurants, residential, commercial to warehousing across Australia and Asia Pacific regions.

Cafe restaurant (Kopper Karrot) serving gourmet meals and serious coffee for connoisseurs. Also a catering operation (Moreish) for corporate functions and private parties to the size of 150 people. Both operations were based in Sydney Australia

Michael joint a fledging Owens & Legge Pty Ltd, a design consultantcy firm in Sydney Australia when it comprises of 4 staff and he had an instrumental role in helping the practice grow over the 2.5 years. He held the role of Senior Designer, Design Team Manager and was also the part time IT Network manager, prior to the practice becoming Futurespace Pty Ltd.
