CurrentManage two test teams, the Component Test Team, responsible for testing individual software components and the Integration Test Team, responsible for testing the system once those individual components have passed testing and been installed on an integrated system. • Hire, train, coach and provide performance management for two teams of Quality Assurance testers. • Collect and organize team statuses, risks, metrics and accomplishments for Sprint Reviews and brief those items to the customer during Sprint Review meetings.• Create test team epics in Confluence based on customer priorities prior to PI Planning and submit to the Program Management Office (PMO) for approval. Revise, update, and add to the epics as necessary during PI Planning. Brief test plan for upcoming PIs to customer during final PI Planning reviews. • Conduct reviews of Engineering Change Requests (CRs) for completeness and thoroughness, particularly regarding test artifacts.• Participate in Engineering Review Board (ERB) meetings where new CRs are evaluated, approved/denied, assigned, and prioritized.• Define testing strategies, requirements, and priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams (CFTs), including developers, product owners and technical leads.• Coordinate with CFT Leads to assign tester resources based on team workloads and customer priorities. • Compile and report testing statuses to stakeholders including a daily status report sent to Project Management, Program Management and Technical Directors. • In Jira, verify that Sprint, Team and other Kanban boards are accurate and up to date. • In Confluence, make updates to test schedule calendar, input Sprint Review updates and metrics.• Direct and conduct regular quality assurance assessments to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process improvement.• Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
