Responsible for analysis and report generation of all logistics related information flowing through the ProTrans Transportation Management System.Oversees transnational level work on the account and work closely with internal operational support teams and support senior level SCM’s to identify downward/upward trends and opportunities for improvement for key accounts. I am the primary transnational based day to day contact and cover the customer service role at the plant and corporate operations level. Create, implement, approve, and train in achieving ProTrans objectives and contribute to identifying, analyzing and developing supply chain solutions. Duties include, but are not limited to -Provide support for our account executives, production managers and operation managers.Develop manpower and transportation plansResponsible for transportation analysis and savings/cost opportunity analysis and implementation and management of cost analysis measuresPlan and monitor budgetsWork with ship site location managers to improve operational and performance metrics Provide information, recommendations, and coordinate project implementation for transportation logistics cost reduction opportunitiesIdentify mode optimization opportunitiesProvide guidance on import/export Freight Classification, Harmonization Coding, Country of Origin, NAFTA Certificates of Origin, and C-TPAT management and complianceMonitor and provide summary reporting on inbound and outbound core carrier compliance, low cost and lane award carrier complianceManage air and expedite freight expenditures through adherence of corporate approval processProvide projections for inbound and outbound freight expenses by month and quarterEnsure accurate forecasting of volume projections to core carriersEnsure timely submission of operation templates from carriers including a carrier scorecard, monthly reporting, and operational excellence projects
