Vision Finance Partners is a mortgage broking business providing residential, commercial and equipment finance. In 2013 we changed our name from Vision Mortgage Solutions to Vision Finance Partners to more properly describe our relationship with both our clients and our related financial services. Home and investment mortgages remain our core business, but the change of name reflects our increasing growth in the space of business, equipment and commercial lending.

Working within Business Banking, my role is to act as the business lead on projects within the commercial customers segment. From January to March of 2008 I was seconded to the Corporate Customers area to work on the creation of a new Corporate Property Customers division. Upon completion of that secondment I was then tasked with designing and implementing a Business Banking wide fee review. This work will be successfully completed in mid October 2008 and will have achieved almost double the expected additional revenue.

Working as a team of three, our task was to develop an innovative strategy for Suncorp's Business Banking to successfully enter the Western Australian market. Our customer research showed that a "Me Too" approach would not be viable given the strength of the existing competitors. Using customer design principles we developed a new and very innovative model for Business Customers to interact with Suncorp. This model is being trialled in the Eastern states at present and has been proven successfull.

In this role I acted as an advisor to Business Banking on the process and scheduling of the portfolio of initiatives and projects.

In this role I led a small team responsible for the provision of business analyst activities to Business Banking, primarily for the core business lending systems. The team was responsible for documenting business requirements statements, acting as the business lead through development and the co-ordination of UAT prior to release.

This role sat within the Sales & Service Development Team of the Retail Intermediary network. I led a team responsible for the delivery and analysis of all MIS and financial reporting for the channel, as well as a number of business analysts and developers responsible for system improvement. A key accomplishment in this role was the design, development and implementation of a broker database and loan tracking system for the retail network.

My portfolio in this role was a combination of MIS and system based project work. I was responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly MIS for the Retail Intermediary channel as well as managing a number of projects for system improvements. Key achievements in this role included the research, design and development of a new commission system for the channel, management of the First National Financial Solutions website and implementation of an incentive scheme for the sales network.
