Successfully led over $15 billion in new debt issuances to help position Mondelēz with best-in-class capital structure in industry, including average rate on long-term debt of just 1.7%.Led Mondelēz’s inaugural Green Bond offering, which was largest ever in CPG industry at €2.0B. Led strategic dialogue with Mondelēz Board of Directors and Senior Management on Capital Structure, Capital Allocation and Pensions, including short and long-term funding strategies, dividend and share repurchase strategies and pension funding/liability management strategies. Led a small, highly effective team responsible for portfolio strategy development and M&A execution activity at Kraft Foods Group, Inc. from Kraft's separation from Mondelēz International, Inc. (formerly Kraft Foods, Inc.) through completion of merger with H.J. Heinz Company in July 2015. Representative activities included: • Leading the development of Kraft’s M&A strategy following Kraft’s separation from Mondelēz, including evaluation of transformational transactions such as Kraft’s merger with Heinz as well as bolt-on opportunities for Kraft’s senior management and Board;• Working closely with Kraft's senior executives and business unit leaders to evaluate potential portfolio changes and M&A opportunities;• Leading the initial development of Kraft’s international growth strategy following separation from Mondelēz, which resulted in a near doubling of Kraft's international business over the next three years;• Leading all integration planning and sign-to-close activities for Kraft’s recent merger with Heinz, culminating in a smooth transaction completed earlier than expected; • Acting as member of Kraft's Transition Management Committee established to manage issues related to Kraft’s separation from Mondelēz; • Leading the structuring and negotiation of Kraft’s recent successful licensing deals with McDonald’s (McCafé) and Keurig to significantly enhance the positioning of Kraft's coffee business;• Managing Kraft's relationships with investment banking firms and other deal professionals; and • Leading the evaluation, cultivation and negotiation of potential M&A opportunities for Kraft.

Representative transaction experience included:• As member of small, senior team, led the internal analysis and preparation of Board materials for the $36 billion spin-off of Kraft Foods Group, Inc. from Mondelēz. Also led the design of majority of the separation principles and agreements governing transitional and long-term rights to common patents, trademarks and businesses. • Integral member of acquisition team on Kraft’s 2010 acquisition of Cadbury, including leading roles on all antitrust reviews and approvals.• Led numerous divestitures, including complex carve-outs and sales of businesses in Poland, Romania, Spain and Hungary that were mandated by the EU as part of the approval of the Cadbury and LU Biscuit acquisitions, among others.• Led evaluation of other strategic acquisition and divestiture projects.
