I was fortunate enough to start out my career in the hospitality industry in college while attending The University of South Carolina. After graduation, I transitioned into restaurant management. This fast paced industry is both equally challenging and rewarding. For me, I realized a transition into sales was not only a goal to strive for, but a passion to succeed in. Being successful in both hospitality management and as a sales associate, the next logical step was to pursue a career in sales management. Working as a sales team leader enabled me to become a highly skilled sales manager with a demonstrated history of excellent team building, consistent sales growth, and a high focus on customer retention and satisfaction. I recognized early on the importance of working well interdepartmentally with: sales, operations, credit, and merchandising. Keeping my skills sharp in business development is an ongoing focus and a great deal of fun. With a high level of engagement, I continually focus on improving my role as a mentor, associate developer and servant leader. I believe that we must continue to strive for excellence, make our own excitement, seize our own opportunities and at the end of the day have fun doing it.
