Michael Cameron is the President and General Manager of Grouse Mountain Resorts, Canada’s premier four-season tourist destination. After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce degree he began his business career at Molson Breweries, where he worked in sales and marketing roles throughout his 17 years at the company. After leaving Molson in 2001, Michael spent almost two years with the Vancouver 2010 Bid Committee managing advertising and events. This experience helped further Michael's interest in the tourism industry and lead him to pursue his current posting at Grouse Mountain Resorts.Since 2003 Michael has been an integral part of this family-owned business and is responsible for overseeing Grouse Mountain. He has demonstrated management abilities in all facets of the tourism hospitality business including sales, marketing, guest services, negotiating, coaching and operations. Michael has been on the Board of Directors for Destination Vancouver since 2012, as a Director, and Chair. Michael's spends time outside of work enjoying skiing, running, cycling, golfing and coaching soccer. He is married to Kelly Cameron, resides in North Vancouver and has three children, Jack, Max and Henry.
