Conducting research into Linguistic Individuality for my PhD thesis, funded by the President's Doctoral Scholarship at the University of Manchester. My project aims to test elements of linguistic theory, as well as provide insight into authorship analysis in the subfield of Forensic Linguistics.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, delivered two lectures and three weeks of seminars, including assessment, as paternity leave cover for the Linguistics module Forensic Linguistics.In the 2021-2022 academic year, led seminars and contributed to marking for the Linguistics module History and Varieties of English.

Unpaid, voluntary position. Treasurer in 2022 and 2023 for Manchester Forum in Linguistics (MFiL), a Postgraduate-led conference aimed at Postgraduate students and early-career researchers in Linguistics. In 2022, secured sponsorship and created and maintained budget alongside the rest of the organising committee.
