Confessions of a Bible Thumper: My Homebrewed Quest for a Reasoned Faith, chronicles my search for spiritual meaning through questioning, examination, and reflecting with friends at a microbrewery. Published in June 2012, it traces a 25-year spiritual journey, combining entertaining vignettes, academic arguments, and conversations over craft beer to address some of the most pressing faith issues of our time. Continuing the microbrew theme, my second book is Craft Brewed Jesus: How History We Never Knew Taps a Spirituality We Really Need. Grant writing, donor reporting, editing, and journalistic articles. I specialized in writing for and mentoring other writers in World Vision's microenterprise development programs.

I developed a curriculum called Values in the Marketplace for World Concern's small enterprise development program and faciliated workshops in Kenya, Thailand, and Seattle. The workbook is still used by field management to train loan officers who in turn teach their poor entrepreneurial clients the material. Also developed marketing materials.
