Responsibilities include surgical monitoring/prep (monitoring vitals,IV catheter placement, patient prep, recovery, etc.), daily consult technical skills (vitals, vaccinations, venipuncture, radiographs, ear cleaning/cytology, scribe, documentation for medical records, euthanasia, etc.). Work collegiately with fellow support staff and doctors to complete tasks throughout the day. Act as lead technician in absence of hospital manager. Provide assistance to the hospital manager, perform weekly/monthly purchasing and inventory and in hospital lab quality and control/compliance.
