- Currently lead a team that support and maintain our core application business stack, with applications and technologies including the Atlassian Suite, Artifactory, Ansible, Docker, NGINX, AWS and more- Built our core application Linux infrastructure stack as code, utilising Ansible to deploy via VMware. Using Docker containers, we can stand up our environment, hardened to CIS benchmarks, quickly and painlessly. Some of this is then replicated in AWS using Load Balancers, NGINX, Certbot and Docker containers to provide additional tooling to our wider unit.- Lead on multiple innovation projects to simplify and consolidate tooling, including developing a new asset management solution utilising Atlassian Jira Service Management alongside several addons including bespoke Groovy scripting within Scriptrunner, Insight, and automated rules to achieve the requirements given- Responsible for the upkeep of our Atlassian suite (800 users), building business processes into the toolset utilising custom scripts, workflows, fields, and automation to enable teams across the business unit to function efficiently

- Using expert technical knowledge of a specific platform gained over the last 4 years, I was able to price, procure, architect, plan and deliver a large scale solution to the customer that met their requirements whilst ensuring it remained in our units best interests as a viable delivery- Further development of VV&T skills when writing acceptance test plans to ensure delivery of our solution is right first time- Managed customer expectations, through both designs and face to face meetings, and continuously engaged directly with the customer as the projects progressed- Designed, developed and delivered a range of small to medium sized bespoke products to suit the given requirements, and provided the necessary training to the end-users

- Worked overseas with our partner for 4 weeks, aiding in the vital design and development of a specific component of our product. I was responsible for engaging with both our partner and our team back in the UK to enable effective progression to meet critical deadlines- Jointly responsible for deploying and integrating a new product into a customer’s premises, working around the clock with them at their premises under immense pressure to ensure that any identified issues were discussed with the development teams to ensure these were addressed in a timely manner, whilst maintaining a direct relationship with the customer to reassure them through this difficult time- Experience in VV&T activities, allowing for increased robustness of our software resulting in delivering right first time, which ultimately reflects customer satisfaction- Worked with several of our customers directly on-site at their premises, building up relationships that will aid in any ongoing and future business aspirations- Developed automation scripts to allow the provision of a large number of virtual environments, of varying operating systems and software products, simultaneously, enabling a customer to achieve a fully automated environment- Aided in the creation of a completely automated development environment, using Puppet to automatically deploy useful tools, including the Atlassian toolset for team collaboration
