I am an actor, writer, and teaching artist with a passion for education and learning. As an actor, I've been lucky enough to perform with some amazing theatre companies in California as well as the east coast and I continue to explore my passion for theatre as a performer. I've worked with some top-notch organizations as a teaching artist and learned a lot about what it takes to be an excellent educator, not only from fellow teachers and co-workers, but from the beautiful talented kids I've been privileged to instruct.I teach, create weekly lesson plans as well as curriculums for classes, and have collaborated with classroom teachers on theatre art projects that incorporate classroom subject matter and align with the California VAPA standards. Having worked with at-risk populations in under-served communities and with students with special needs, I been fortunate to witness that creativity, passion, and talent can be found everywhere.
