• Senior Engineer, Specializing in high performance ventilation strategies, thermal comfort, and building energy systems analysis.
• Ventilation and thermal comfort assessment of the third expansions building of the Makkah grand mosque development. This study specifically addressed the issues associated with extreme outdoor temperatures infiltrating.
• Evaluation of the pollution mitigation ventilation system and potential for natural ventilation of a parking garage in Mumbai, India. This project involved the coupling of CFD modeling, wind tunnel results and RWDI.
• Aerodynamic evaluation of the roof design as well as an assessment of the air conditioning system for a new football stadium. The purpose of this study was to limit air infiltration and provide comfortable conditions.
• Master Plan energy model of new city developments. Use of RWDI’s master plan energy profile (MPEP) tool to evaluate window type, building orientation and construction with respect to energy use for new city developments.

• Building performance specifically related to the modeling of internal ventilation and energy systems.
• Conducted master plan level energy assessments of developments and communities using in-house tools and spreadsheets. Relevant projects have largely been new cities in China and the Middle East.
• Performed Energy modeling of future buildings in order to reduce electricity use and increase building performance. Energy modeling projects have included local buildings in Ontario as well as large developments in.
• Used computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to aid in the optimization of architectural designs. CFD projects have ranged from life safety analysis in parking garages and atrium (smoke management) to ventilation.

• Developed computation model of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) based cogeneration unit for use in the building simulation software ESP-r
• Created model in FORTRAN and interfaced it with existing software ESP-r
