I am a recent graduate of Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. However, during this year (the winter 2022 semester) I realized I wanted to teach high school math instead. I made this decision, because I realized I wanted a job where I can work directly with others helping them learn. I do enjoy dealing with situations involving numbers and logic, which is why I decided on mathematics as my subject of choice. I still love what I learned in Accounting and how I can apply those principles in my personal life, but I feel that teaching gives me the purpose I desire.Although I do not have much in the way of experience teaching, I am willing to learn and I am working towards learning and seeking experience subbing for the remainder of the school year to prepare me to teach.
