Western and Central NY Account Manager for Messer Americas, a leader in industrial gases supply and technology. In this role I worked with our staff of chemical, food and metallurgical engineers to partner with customers on industrial gas supply and technology.

As Vice President of TREC, my focus is business development/account management. My goal is to grow our company - through expansion within existing customer organizations as well as securing new ones. I also handle the procurement processes for new customers and maintain compliance with existing customers.

My role within the organization is to manage all business development efforts, which generally includes: networking and online research to identify potential projects, reaching out to existing or potential customers to introduce TREC and our capabilities as they relate to their project needs, assisting with procurement, bidding, and bid follow-up. I also manage the company's CRM Program, social media accounts, website, and design/distribute email campaigns.Geographically I cover all of NY, but do manage customer accounts which are out of state.

I was a technical sales rep for the Pine Office in Rochester where I used my ~7 years of application-based environmental equipment experience to sell/rent equipment and calibration gases across New York State.I managed the office's opportunity pipeline, conducted lunch & learn presentations for potential customers, and trained customers on equipment use/troubleshooting.

My time at B&L was spent providing support to Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIHs) through asbestos building surveys and project monitoring. I was also utilized in support of Environmental Scientists by performing compliance monitoring at various landfills in NY.I also performed field oversight of underground oil water separator tank removals to insure no harm was done to surrounding soil.

I worked as a summer GIS Technician to develop a Resource Inventory for the Facilities Dept.The SUNY Brockport campus is full of water main shut-offs that occasionally break during the winter months and flood the area. Since the ground is generally covered with snow when this happens, and the shutoffs are flush to the ground, we developed an interactive location system to make locating them easier.Using a handheld GIS unit and ESRI software we located and documented each shutoff and which building they were associated with. This makes it easier for the college to locate them quickly and minimize water damage.The project expanded to also include emergency telephones, fire hydrants, etc and became an (almost) all-encompassing resource inventory.
