Retained after purchase of Iceland Seafood as of July 2005.° Oversaw combined operations of two manufacturing plants plus warehousing and frozen distribution centers located in Massachusetts, Maryland and Virginia.• Completed design and construction of a $9.5 M frozen distribution center attached directly to the manufacturing plant in Virginia.° Expanded ammonia refrigeration from 28,000 lbs to 32,500 lbs of ammonia to include all Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements• Increased manufacturing throughput from 3800 lbs/hr in 2007 to 5300 lbs/hr in 2011 across all four production lines. °Announced the closure of the Maryland plant in October 2007 and managed the sale of the plant and equipment by December 2007.

Responsibilities included facility, utility, and manufacturing operations.° Green field $26.4 million new plant construction; included redesign of the central hydraulic system and thermal fluid piping system due to incorrect installation prior to my arrival; completed start up of four new production lines.• Established a 28,000 lb ammonia refrigeration system with no incidents. Design improvements over the years to enhance system redundancy with minimal capital investment.° Improved Snyder press operations; reengineered a non-functional unit in to an operational friendly one that today produces over 10 percent of the plant volume in a unique market.• Performed closure of Camp Hill, PA facility after the move to Newport News, VA.

Acquired Piedmont Poultry; Coordinated a $2 million, 4-month plant renovation including hiring and scheduling of subcontractors, purchasing equipment, and maintaining budgets.• Set criteria and design specifications for a custom CMMS.

° Maintenance manager; supervised four salaried and thirty-four hourly. • Oversaw preventative maintenance program, maintenance inventory control, plant layout development, engineering, environmental regulations, and utility management.° Reduced utility expense by 21 % and maintenance material expense by 24%.

Process area maintenance manager; supervised two leaders and twenty-five hourly.° Oversaw preventative maintenance program, maintenance budgeting, plant layout, and engineering implementation. • Achieved the goal of producing all pounds required for the operation on first shift as opposed to a two-shift operation through maintenance and operation efficiency improvements.

Projects included a $100,000 per year savings on process meat equipment.• Transitioned to maintenance supervision at the request of the plant manager. ° Promoted to environmental manager; operated DAF to three aerated lagoons with discharge to a POTW.
