Leading multi projects within a large Irish Banks treasury department I have used my 8 years experience designing and delivering complex change projects from improving legacy infrastructure to rolling out new Treasury products in the area's of liquidity management and Securities Financing and lending.My approach is always to partner with client teams to understand the unique client organisational context in order to design scalable and sustainable solutions that will maximise long-term benefits.

I am currently employed by RBS Group Ireland as a SEPA Migration Manager. My role here involves liasing with customers (Corporate and Business) and software companies in order to successfully make sure the customer is SEPA compliant. Pro-actively engage and assist Ulster Bank’s prioritised high-impact customers to effect a smooth and successful transition to the SEPA Credit Transfers and/or SEPA Direct Debit schemes.Provide planning and advisory services to customers re SEPA migration and Ulster Bank systemsTake ownership on customers’ behalf of any issues arising in relation to SEPA migration and driving through to achieve satisfactory resolution for the customer.Champion the Customers needs within Ulster Bank to ensure we are delivering the required service in required timeframes.Provide high quality planning, reporting and risk and controls management into the SEPA projectEngage with customer to develop approach and plan for customer’s SEPA migrationBuild strong working relationships with relevant customer personnel, as required to effect SEPA migrationAnalyse customers payment related systems, data and processes to identify potential issues in SEPA migration and work with the customers to identify solutions and opportunities to avoid/ manage potential issuesArrange/deliver training required to enable customer migration progress with SEPA migration.Engage with software companies in relation to SEPA Software design.Overview customer testing processes and provide advice on potential solutions where issues ariseProvide single point of contact to customer for all the customer’s SEPA Migration issues.

I joined EBS Athlone in July as the Business Development manager. My role here was to oversee all credit applications checking all aspects of affordability. This involved meeting clients taking all particulars and going through a full financial review with them. I would then submit the application to our credit department and from there liaise with underwriting in order to get loan approval. Once approved I met with the clients again and went through the stages of Loan Offer right the way to Cheque Issue. I undertook all stages of the process myself as I felt that this allowed me to give the clients a high service level. I used all my Organisation, Interpersonal, Problem solving and Analysis skills in order to make this as stress free and customer friendly as possible. This entailed working under constant pressure as in any given day I could meet up to six new clients and my business phone was always on from 8-8 for clients to call. I was very target driven in this role and over exceeded all targets set. Another part of my role in EBS was to establish myself and our brand in local work places. In order to do this I would use all my networking skills along with good inter-personal skills in order to make contact with these businesses. I would then present to them the benefits of my presence in their work place once or twice a week.
