I am the course director for the MSc in Clinical Science / Cellular Science. This is the academic component for the Scientist Training Program (STP). Graduates entering the STP are employed in a fixed-term, salaried training post and will study towards a masters degree qualification in Clinical Science (Cellular Sciences). The Cellular Science program has three main disciplines, cytopathology, histopathology and reproductive science (clinical embryology). After successful completion of the work-based training assessments and the MSc (specialising in one of the disciplines), graduates can then register as clinical scientists with the Health and Care Processions Council (HCPC). Worked as a clinical embryologist - attaining the certificate in clinical embryology awarded by the Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE).

I was employed as a research associate investigating the derviation of foregut endoderm from human embryonic stem cells.

My research interestes included the initiation and regulation of sperm-triggered calcium signals at fertilization and meiotic cell cycle control.

I was employed by the HHMI at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School. My research interests included nuclear reprogramming and murine embryonic stem cell biology.
