I specialise in contentious corporations and financial matters. My particular experience includes dispute resolution, restructuring and reorganisation and domestic and cross-border insolvency issues. I have long running experience in shareholder, joint venture and financial services disputes include most aspects of banking and finance law. I also have extensive experience acting for foreign and domestic banks and credit providers in relation to special situations and distressed investment. That work includes advising on structuring and implementing reorganisation strategies as well as dealing with the full range of issues arising out of those transactions. Examples of recent high profile matters that I have worked on include Provident Capital Ltd (for the Court appointed receivers), Centaur Litigation (for the provisional liquidations reorganising the failed litigation funder), McAleese Ltd (for the syndicate of new investors restructuring the company), Australian Water Holdings (for investors caught up in a series of extraordinary dealings explored before ICAC in Operation Credo) and Bruck Textile Technologies Pty Ltd (for the liquidators investigating a high profile re-organisation of the company).
