My role as a portfolio manager required portfolio management skills and credit training. As a portfolio manager, at any given time, I was supporting between one and four portfolios as a generalist for both CRE and C&I lending. Specific duties included: financial reporting and covenant tracking, analyzing financials on existing commercial relationships and preparing update memos for Team Leaders and Senior Management, analysis of new loan requests (cash flow, collateral, guarantor assessment), market analysis, managing and updating internal reporting as needed, coordinating construction management (loan advances, site visits, etc.) on ongoing construction projects, and assisting with Credit Risk Review and Audit tasks including coordinating responses and monitoring action steps for remediation.
